We adopt a ranged playstyle and use Fetishes as meat shields to protect us. Squirt's Necklace provides us with a damage multiplier as long as we are not getting hit.Aquila Cuirass grants us an easy 50% damage reduction as we barely spend any Mana.Lakumba's Ornament provides us with another 70% damage reduction with Soul Harvest Languish which already gives us 15% Intelligence and 50% Armor.Stone Gauntlets provide an outrageous amount of mitigation and their negative effect can be fully negated by Ice Climbers.Depth Diggers gives us another 100% damage boost on our main skill Poison Dart. This effect is additive with Elemental damage on Bracers and Amulet. Mask of Jeram increases all Pet damage by 200%.Carnevil is the core item that makes this build work as 10 of your Fetishes will now shoot a powerful Poison Dart whenever you do.The Dagger of Darts grants us 500% increased damage and allows Poison Dart s to pierce targets. This guide will go over everything you need to know about those wild Dart-shooting Fetishes! Positioning is absolutely critical as only the 10 Fetishes closest to you shoot a Poison Dart when you do, aiming where your cursor is. This build develops a completely unique Pet playstyle with intriguing interactions (see Mechanics), where you need to manage your Fetishes very carefully to wreak havoc on your opponents. This build is an Area Damage (AD) build, since Fetishes, and most importantly Poison Dart s they shoot, can proc it. In Season 25, Soul Shards with the amazing Dregs of Lies as well as the rework of Shukrani's Triumph bumped the build as one of the best solo push builds in Diablo III. While Carnevil is often used with Zunimassa's Haunt Set, it can be played using Legacy of Dreams which allows for way more flexibility in terms of gearing and skill setup choices.Įven though the LoD setup is a true powerhouse for speedfarming, Legacy of Nightmares becomes mandatory for high endgame push and is by a long shot the best setup to compete on the No Set leaderboard! It is only with Season 17 buffing Carnevil again and The Dagger of Darts that this build became one of the strongest Witch Doctor setups in the game. Unfortunately, this build fell completely out of relevance despite some buffs in Season 12 and 16 to Mask of Jeram and Carnevil. It has been around for a long time, starting with Season 3 using Zunimassa's Haunt. Diablo: Immortal exists somewhere out there too and should release in 2021.The Carnevil build features a unique playstyle that revolves around Poison Dart being shot by hordes of Fetishes. We still don’t have a ton of information about Diablo 4, so it looks like these two games are all we have for the time being. While it’s an older game and plays differently than D3, we expect there are a lot of players who will be diving into this game for the first time, and it could prove to be something new and shiny when compared to decade-old Diablo 3. We’ll have to hope Blizzard can cook something up for longtime players because Diablo 2’s release is right around the corner. ![]() The start of a new season is always an exciting time in Diablo 3 as it usually means there are new sets to complete, new items to get and a new theme. From there, we’ll be able to accurately predict the start time for Season 24. Blizzard usually reveals the end time a week or so ahead of time, so if it is coming in July, expect an official announcement to come soon. In the past, this has been around two weeks, which could push the start of Season 4 into August.Īgain, this will be a lot easier to pinpoint once we have the official end date of Season 23. Usually, Blizzard gives players a bit of downtime to relax from the grind that is Diablo 3 before they jump right back in. Prepare for Ethereals and more in Season 24 of Diablo III.
